In 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the birth rate decreased and the death rate increased in all regions. In the Lviv region, the birth rate is lower than in the voivodships,
and the mortality rate is higher, and accordingly, the natural decrease is more significant. The natural decrease took place in all regions.
