is a set of residential premises, regardless of the type of ownership, including residential buildings, special houses (dormotories, houses for the elderly and persons with disabilities-both adults and children, orphan houses, full-time boarding schools, boarding schools), apartments, business quarters and other accommodation located in buildings suitable for living.
The housing stock excludes country houses, summer cottages, sport and tourist centres, motels, camping sites, sanatoria, rest facilities, boarding houses, guest houses, hotels, rail coaches and other seasonal and temporary lodgements irrespective of the time period spent there by visitors.
RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
- include single-family houses, houses with two or more apartments, large scale and individual development, as well as dormitories
DORMITORIES
- include: residential buildings of collective dwelling, including care homes for the elderly and people with disabilities, students, children and other social groups, such as refugee houses, dormitories for employees and officials, dormitories for students and pupils of educational institutions, children's homes and orphanages, shelters for the homeless, etc.
NON-RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
- include: hotels, restaurants, cafes and similar buildings; office and commercial buildings; transport and communications facilities; industrial buildings and warehouses; buildings for public speaking, institutions of educational, medical and health purposes; other non-residential buildings (agricultural buildings, for ceremonial and religious activities, prisons, barracks, etc.).
USEFUL FLOOR AREA OF RESIDENTIAL PREMISES
- consists of the area of living rooms, utility rooms (except for entrance lobbies in single-family houses) and summer quarters, calculated with such decreasing coefficients: for balconies and terraces – 0.3; loggias – 0.5; glazed balconies – 0.8; porches, glazed loggia and cold storerooms - 1.0. subsidiary premises(utility rooms) - includes kitchen, bath (shower) room, toilet or full bathroom, entrance hall, hall closet or built-in closet.
