Overview

The number of employed population of Lviv region aged 15-70 in 2020 was 1038,9 thousand people. Most were employed in trade, agriculture, industry. The employment rate of the population aged 15-70 in 2020 was 56,0%.
The number of unemployed people aged 15-70 increased by 13% compared to 2019 and amounted to 84,9 thousand people. The unemployment rate (ILO) was 7,6% in 2020 against 6,5% in 2019.
Nominal wage in 2020 increased by 11,1% compared to 2019 and amounted to UAH 10299. The level of real wage (taking into account changes in consumer prices) increased compared to 2019 by 7,7%.
